ABSTRACT
The research presented here is meant to (1) place relevance on the national IS/IT research priorities (2) bring researchers and practitioners a global reference about IS/IT future trends and developments. To accomplish the goal, a content analysis of 15 national foresight processes is done. Through this analysis, the authors recognize different IS/IT concerns in each county. Nevertheless, some IS/IT developments are seen as critical at the world level: ubiquitous computing, user interfaces and broadband-mobile networks.
