Multiple Regression Analysis of Coal’s Calorific Value Using Data of Proximate Analysis

210 pairs of coal’s calorific value and proximate analysis are collected in this paper. And, the multiple linear regression equation is established between coal’s calorific value and proximate analysis groups. The regression coefficients are rational in the theory of coal science. And, this equation is significant by the F-test and R-test. The work reveals that multiple regression analysis provides an effective way to research their relationship quantitatively and with multi-variables.
