ABSTRACT
An algorithmic procedure has been designed/developed for fault dimension diagnosis in systems with physical and economic variables/parameters. The implementation presented refers to the economotechnical design of the industrial heat exchangers and proved the suitability of the proposed methodology to identify error sources and contribute to system rectification.
