ABSTRACT
We have developed a new program code for calculating the conductance properties of a single organic molecule connected to two semi-infinite leads using the Green’s function method. We have applied the code for the study of the conductance of single benzene-dithiolate molecule connected to Au(111) electrodes. The I-V relation is analyzed in terms of the molecular orbitals of the system.
