ABSTRACT
The geological hazard model base system (GHMBS) is a comprehensive mode base system for WINDOWS which integrates with abundant models and method modules of geological hazard forecast. It contains a lot of kinds of specialized models and forecast methods so that it can give good service to users in geological hazard forecast about subsidence, karst collapse, and seashore erosion. In development of system, the advanced techiniques of model cell generation, property-control flow and hierarchy-frame management have been introduced so that the system has characteristics of multi-task operation, ingenious queries and managment, multi-path simulation and forecast and the function for the second developer. The development of GHMBS provides an good example for the techinique of geological hazard forecast.
