ABSTRACT
The controlling engineering for the Lianziya dangerous rockmass at the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River has been conducted. The paper introduces pre-stressed anchoring applied to the project. The anchoring is divided into eight zones and about 200 cables are fixed of 1000kN, 2000kN and 3000kN, in which the longest cable is over 61m.
