ABSTRACT
Manufacturing microbiology is fast approaching one of those famous decision points that we are all familiar with from various political and sporting contests. Decision point is an expression which is often overused and applied to relatively simple or instinctive choices which must be made during normal life and work. In the case of manufacturing microbiology, the expression may, for the first time, be used correctly and may even be significantly and consistently understated.
