ABSTRACT
A standard feedforward backpropagation network was used to perform automated integrity evaluation of arterial pressure waveforms. Our goal was to automatically and reliably read hemodynamic variables directly from patients with our existing lab equipment (Mustard et al 1990). The most difficult part turned out to be validating the signals were not corrupted (i.e. suitable for measurement).
