ABSTRACT
Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists play an important role in the medical treatment of uterine fibroids. They can also be used as an adjunct treatment prior to surgery. The evidence for the use of GnRH agonists in the context of uterine fibroids is reviewed in this chapter.
