As you may know, our society, the Human Interface Society, has had a long association with the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, particularly through academic research activity exchanges between Professor Gavriel Salvendy and Professor Hiroshi Tamura of Hiroshima International University. This special issue is the first opportunity for us to introduce you to our society’s research activities.
