ABSTRACT
In last few decades, there have been increasing prevalence of thyroid nodules and cancer prevalence observed in all South Asian countries, and it has also led to thyroid surgery becoming more common. The safety of thyroid surgery is always a concern and many intraoperative adjuncts have developed to make this surgery safer. In this chapter, there were invitations to authors, who are experts of thyroid surgery in their country to write about the scenario of thyroid surgery and thyroid cancer.
