ABSTRACT
Adrenal cortex and medulla are essential for the existence of life and their abnormalities lead to many noncommunicable diseases right from hypertension to congenital syndromes. The chapter tries to briefly place the various important physiological principles behind the different clinical scenarios shown by this gland, aiding to a sound and robust diagnostic platform.
