ABSTRACT
This chapter is based on pathological evaluation of thyroid nodules, primarily focusing on the role of cytopathological, histopathological and ancilliary techniques, including immunohistochemical as well as genetic analysis. It gives a concise overview to the clinician about the latest classifications, various diagnostic modalities, their indications along with limitations.
