ABSTRACT
In this chapter, various methods employed for the preparation of polymeric coatings are discussed. Some of the methods are traditional like solvent casting, spin coating, thermal spraying, dip casting, and drop casting. Nowadays, new methods are being developed every day to make finer and flawless polymeric coatings that are economical and environment-friendly. We will also discuss various theories that play a vital role in the formation of polymeric coatings.
