ABSTRACT
Seed growth method is a versatile method for the controlled synthesis of the anisotropic nanostructures. Such nanostructures hold promising applications in diverse fields. This method involves a variety of parameters, such as nature and concentration of reducing agent, type of capping agent, the role of Ag+ ion, mode of addition of reducing agent, etc. However, careful control of these parameters can result in desired nanostructures.
