ABSTRACT

Anatomy trains structural integration (ATSI) is designed around the anatomy trains myofascial meridians concept of Thomas Myers. ATSI is a form of therapeutic bodywork that uses fascial techniques and movement education to treat chronic pain, ease physical restrictions, and improve movement dysfunctions. ATSI is patient-centered. Although each session has a clear goal and anatomical territory, each treatment is modified to the individual’s specific needs based on a detailed evaluation both in static posture and active function.
