ABSTRACT

In this chapter, a new data on the effect of SiC and TiN on the properties of the epoxy polymer is presented. It is established a significant increase in microhardness (in 1.5–2 times), modulus in bending (1.4–1.7 times), compressive strength (for SiC), abrasion resistance and chemical resistance (in nitric acid and acetone/ethyl acetate). At the same time, the thermal stability of the compositions and thermoresistance of their strength properties are substantially increased.
