ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the current technology trends and standardization activities in context of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) and related to the Production harmonizEd Reconfiguration of Flexible Robots and Machinery (PERFoRM) approach. Furthermore, based on the practical experience of the PERFoRM project (EU HORIZON2020 FoF PERFoRM 2015-2018), this chapter outlines the current challenges and needs in the standardization landscape both at European and international levels.
