ABSTRACT
Recent publicity over complaints about the quality of U.S. soybeans for export has stimulated increased concern for soybean quality research. One of the major problems in measuring soybean quality is the large amount of variability among samples. Such variability may be due to the subjective nature of the damage tests, randomness of the sample, and the relatively small size of the samples collected.
