ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a method to improve our knowledge of the medication process by improving data collection and analysis of dispensation in actual situations; it follows the actors along their paths, within and across boundaries. There are many different aspects to consider in the interplay; a method and framework is needed to not only capture relevant snapshots of the system but also – at least as far as this is possible – to make explicit the actual interaction between states, entities involved and activities conducted.
