ABSTRACT
To obtain a fresh perspective on potential future challenges for the Internet of Things (IoT) industry, I interviewed Mr. Arthur Garcia of Tampa, Florida. Mr. Garcia is a former Microsoft MVP for IoT and was recruited to Microsoft based on his experience as an IoT practitioner and systems integrator. Our conversation provides insight into his experience, his areas of interest with IoT, and several areas for research and standards emphasis in the future.
