ABSTRACT

The business leaders manage multicultural stakeholders to make organizations agile and innovative in volatile and uncertain world today. The strategic significance of culture has gained importance as the organizations expand across borders to partner with and serve customers from multiplicity of cultures and ethnicities in new and varied ways. The study integrates literature on cultural intelligence, intercultural sensitivity, cultural competence, global mindset, acculturation, expatriate effectiveness, diversity management, and global leadership competence to build on the work of talent management in cross-cultural context. The harmonious integration of knowledge of people coming from diverse backgrounds gives the organization competitive advantage in the marketplace. Creative cross-cultural collaboration is the need of the hour for evolving global businesses.
