ABSTRACT
The risk management is quite important for the Expressway projects especially for the bridge, the key in this system with high risk of incident, to ensure the high requirements of safety, quality, longevity and to optimize the management and maintenance activities. Expressway system in Vietnam has recently impressive development with around 1000 km constructed in service and 6400 km in plan until 2030 however the risk management is still limited, the unexpected accidents and incidents were happened…This paper will evaluate the current status of the Risk identification and management for bridge based on the investigation results during the construction and operation periods of the Expressway projects in Vietnam then propose some future researches to attend the effective solutions.
