ABSTRACT

Evaluation of concrete strength is very important to estimate performance of reinforce concrete structure for maintenance and asset management. Therefore, in order to clarify the relation between P—wave velocity and concrete quality, experimental study were conducted using test specimens. As the results, It is clarified that evaluation formula for concrete strength in NDIS 2426 part2 can apply slag aggregate concrete and recycled aggregate concrete. It is confirmed that decreasing of P-wave velocity due to defects is explained by theory of elasticity and decide by ratio of elasticity to density.
