ABSTRACT

The tough environments cause the risks of layer shedding and steel corrosion, therefore, The repairing materials becomes popular in the building construction market recent years, In this paper, the repair mortar with suitable workability, toughness, adhesion and durability is proposed, which mainly consist of polymer and anti-cracking fiber with the sulpho-aluminate cement. The research results indicate that as the amount of polymer increases, the flexural strength, bond strength and impact toughness are improved, while the fluidity and compressive strength are gradually reduced. With the increase of the amount of anti-cracking fiber, the impact strength gradually increases, and the fluidity, flexural strength and compressive strength firstly increase followed by a decrease. Finally, the cost-optimized ratio of the proposed mortar used for concrete structure protection is sulpho-aluminate cement W/C=0.35~0.4, C/S=1:2~1:3, P/C=8~10%.
