ABSTRACT
In the context of the overall development of the bridge industry towards “maintenance and management-oriented”, we are faced with new pressures on maintenance and management in four aspects, namely “status cognition, performance maintenance, risk control and fund decision-making. And the important way to solve these pressures is to implement the new maintenance and management concept of “speaking with data, making decisions with data, managing with data and innovating with data” with the help of information construction. We should study and build a bridge maintenance and management information system in an all-round way, track the development of information technology and management technology, and adhere to the development principle of “long-term caring, continuous optimization and upgrading” based on the practice of information construction on maintenance and management of long and major bridges and data standardization, data specialization and management standardization so as to ensure the gradual and orderly, advanced, stable, convenient and easy-to-use information construction.
