Synthesis of Trichloro-(Methylamino)-Bis-(Methylamine) Tin(IV) Methylamine Hydrochloride*

Following previous studies of the reaction of some urea and thiourea derivatives with tin tetrahalides ^1–3 and organotin halides, ^{4 , 5} the author extended his research to carbamide chloride ⁶ and to carboxylic acid amide, ⁷ and in this paper the reaction of mono-methylamine with tin tetrachloride is studied with the explanation of the mechanism of the reaction.
