ABSTRACT

With the purpose of using the big data accumulated in the information systems of Beijing Emergency Management Bureau (BEMB) to help the urban safety and emergency management, a social network analysis (SNA) model was used to study the data correlations between nine information systems in BEMB. The results showed that there were 59 related data items with a correlation coefficient bigger than 0.1. The association network map designed with the Ucinet software reflected that the system node of administrative law enforcement had the biggest degree centrality and was the most active participant in the whole network. The data node hidden hazard numbers had the biggest betweenness centrality and controlled the data flow of the overall network. It can be concluded that the SNA method quantified and visualized the correlations between the different information systems, which provides an important reference for promoting government information integration and optimization.
