ABSTRACT
Both Japan and China are facing serious agricultural risks due to frequent natural disasters. Japan is highly experienced in all aspects of agricultural risk management. There are many similarities between China and Japan in the agricultural production environment and model. This paper systematically studies the Agricultural Mutual Relief System, Government support policies and Income Insurance System in Japan’s Agricultural Disaster Compensation System. It will provide a useful reference for improving China’s agricultural insurance system and contribute to the improvement of agricultural risk management.
