ABSTRACT

Subsea Tree is one of the most important well control devices in offshore oil and gas production activities. If it fails, inestimable loss can be caused for the staff on the production facility, the ocean environment and other consequences. This paper presents a risk evaluation and identifies the major risk of the subsea tree, and develops a system testing approach to evaluate and assess the reliability of the subsea tree. This study performs a system testing approach to evaluate and assess the reliability of the subsea tree and obtains innovative achievements with important practical values.
