ABSTRACT
The “tumor-dormant state” as defined by Wheelock is a state in which tumors are neither progressive nor regressive. Jacques Hiernaux and co-workers seek an explanation for this phenomenon in the context of a mathematically supported predator-prey type of model. The commentators are not uniformly convinced the paradox is thereby resolved.
