ABSTRACT
Surface Design is a specific area responsible for designing wrapping interfaces of objects or bodies, which approaches the textile domain and, therefore, fashion design. The techniques applied to this design specialization are numerous. The present study approaches concepts of Surface Design with an emphasis on the development of multifaceted products. It does so through the construction of a fashion product and of a crochet handmade textile surface. For this, the use of draping elements is proposed as a development method of textile surface, to achieve the desired silhouette.
