ABSTRACT
The focus of this work is to connect functional blended wool fabrics to aesthetics and clothing design for leisurewear, creating an exchange among the approached concepts. Considering that, this study intends to approach the tri-laminating process, composed of a membrane that gives the final fabric the functional component, combining it afterwards with fashionable aesthetics in clothing and the leisure movement. Also, the potentials of wool fabric associated with leading-edge technologies already in the market were explored.The findings of this project are presented as the first results: four pieces of clothing were developed and manufactured. In the manufactured garments, the application of fashionable and functional blended wool fabrics was made, successfully integrating functionality in everyday style fashion.
