ABSTRACT

The computational perspective of scientific and engineering discipline in relation to understanding all forms of language and constructing artifacts that useably process and produce language is computational linguistics. As language is the most obvious means of communication, linguistic-sensitive processors need to integrate human interactions with machines and related procedures. Computational linguistics is very important, as human knowledge is expressed in languages and sentiments. Sentiments are the views or opinions expressed about a person, situation, place, or thing. Customer feedback from retail e-commerce is the source that consists of a treasure-trove of valuable business information. This chapter studies sentiment across all the customer reviews by separating the text into word clouds. The word cloud is impactful for the study as it is favorable to see and understand the attitude of people towards the products as claimed by the retailers. It highlights the most recurring words in the text data in a descending order of font size and word count.
