ABSTRACT
Boarding school is a place of teaching about the various sciences, as well as developing the skills, knowledge, attitude, and skills of the santri to become Islamic scholars, promoting individual piety and social piety by upholding the spirit of sincerity, simplicity, independence, brotherhood among Muslims, humility, tolerance, balance, moderation, exemplary and healthy lifestyle, and love of homeland. Islamic boarding schools have devoted all their energy and thought to the realization of the love of the homeland to educate people to have social intelligence, namely sensitivity and social skills. The values taught are inherent and embedded in the teachings of Islam.
