ABSTRACT

Online-enriched Microteaching (OMT) is a series of learning processes that are carefully designed and intensely implemented in order to achieve a positive impact on the basic teaching skills of student teachers. In Indonesia, the OMT emphasizes its training strongly on integrating skills of the 21st Century into the traditional field of microteaching. The appropriate number of practitioners and the proper time involved constitutes another variable to be considered while harvesting the dividend of the practices. This initial research recommends a total embrace of strong practices of the OMT in order for the country to achieve quality ICT enrichment while applying learning theory and didactics, pedagogical, methodical, and andragogical learning into its practices.
