ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to assess the social behavior of students in the game “seize the ball.” A descriptive qualitative method was used, with the subjects and the informants being students undertaking physical education courses in the PGSD Study Program FKIP Palangkaraya University. The results showed that those participating in the game displayed attitudes and social behavior, such as excitement (cheerfulness), competiveness, cooperation, conflict, sincerity, honesty, respect, and enthusiasm. Additionally, 11 out of 30 students (36.66%) had relatively high morale compared to other players. However, there were still a few techniques or movements employed by players that were dangerous or negative, which necessitates further changes to the game.
