ABSTRACT

This research aimed to describe the quality of online learning during 2018/19.1 and 2018/19.2 registration to improve teachers’ competencies by using technology. Universitas Terbuka (UT), as an online learning service provider, tries to accommodate these needs. A survey was conducted in the form of online questionnaires distributed to 208 respondents who registered for online tutorials on practical courses and teaching practice of the Early Childhood Teacher Education (ECTE) Study Program in the 2018/19.1 semester. The results describe the experiences of students who engaged in online learning in the Program as required. The factors that support is learning through online. The ability to assisting students in the process of learning and completing assignments is a factor in support of the implementation of the online learning program. Obstacles to the implementation of online learning are a limited internet network, especially in the island areas; limited ability of students to access the internet; etc.
