ABSTRACT

It has been three decades since Green chemistry was introduced in the area of chemistry and related fields, with this philosophy, any chemical transformation process can be improved and/or innovated, while respecting the environment. As it can be seen, Green chemistry is a well-designed work philosophy, designed to encompass each one of the variables that can affect or influence a chemical transformation process, from its design to its degradation. The use of emerging energies such as ultrasound and/or microwaves that have been proven to reduce process times, as well as energy requirements or to try to bring the process to room temperature with normal atmospheric pressures. Another important aspect to consider is the use of renewables products as raw materials, as well as trying to avoid as much as possible the use in the process of unnecessary blocking components, because this can cause another stage in the process.
