ABSTRACT

In order to determine the relationship between annual gas production and number of wells, a multi-index program decision model for the development of a condensate gas reservoir group is established. According to the different numbers of production wells and gas production scales in old blocks and new blocks, several sets of development plans are compiled. The reservoir engineering method is used to predict the number of wells, annual gas production, net present value, and internal rate of return of a condensate gas reservoir. Based on the gas production and well number data of an actual gas reservoir, according to the multi-index fuzzy evaluation method, the optimum development scheme of condensate gas reservoirs in old areas and new areas is obtained. The results show that the optimum scheme for a condensate gas reservoir (old area) are scheme 1(1) and scheme 1(3). The parameters of scheme 1(1) are 29 wells, annual gas production is 150.58 × 108 m3, net present value is 6658.00 million RMB, and internal rate of return is 13.28%. The parameters of scheme 1(3) are 31 wells, annual gas production is 160.82 × 108 m3, net present value is 7058.00 million RMB, and internal rate of return is 9.77%. The optimum scheme for a condensate gas reservoir (new area) is scheme 20. The parameters of scheme 20 are 3 wells, annual gas production is 15.8 × 108 m3, net present value is 374.27 million RMB, and internal rate of return is 2.02%. The optimal scheme can provide a theoretical basis for decision-makers.
