ABSTRACT

Aimed at distributed wind turbines integrating energy storage systems planning in the distribution network, an optimal planning approach is proposed considering the different benefit communities including distribution company and distributed generation investor. Meanwhile, in view of the excellent parallel computation ability of P-system, an improved parallel P-system algorithm based on NSGA-II is proposed to overcome the drawbacks of traditional heuristic algorithms like prematurity and easy to be trapped into local optimization. The ultimate goal is to maximize different benefit communities by sizing and locating distributed wind turbines and energy storage systems. A case study shows that with the proposed planning approach, more practical and effective schemes can be acquired.
