ABSTRACT

In order to analyze the influence of shield on low frequency electromagnetic field in valve hall, a simple electromagnetic shielding model consisting of a ring antenna and a metal sheet is presented. The programming calculation is carried out on the basis of the accurate analytical formula in the existing literature. In order to verify the reliability of the program, this paper uses CST to build a simulation model of shielding effectiveness for calculation, and the simulation results are consistent with the programming results. Change the conductivity, relative permeability, thickness and position of the metal sheet to calculate the shielding effectiveness, and the results show that the shielding effectiveness increases as the electrical conductivity, magnetic permeability and thickness of the metal sheet increase. Moreover, when the thickness of the metal sheet is much smaller than the distance from the loop antenna to the observation point, the distance from the loop antenna to the metal sheet and the distance from the loop antenna to the observation point satisfy a certain relationship. The research results of this paper are valuable for the design of low-frequency electromagnetic shielding in valve hall.
