ABSTRACT

This work intends to look at the role of visualisation in the creative process of architecture as a virtualised exploration, of the construction of a world that is understood by real and where the architecture of things arises as a support for the existence. In a context tagged by the most recent discoveries of science, ever closer to confirming ancestral models of prefiguration of the universe, imagination and creativity emerge as protagonists of the construction of a particular nature of intelligence inhabited by the dream of architects. We try to open the door to the understanding that the world emerges from the interaction between fields of the real, where the consciousness of illusion becomes the protagonist of a kind of game played between the real and the imagined. In this fantasy, space can precede the desire of the architect but, simultaneously, this same space, makes emerge the thought as creative force for the construction of an architectural illusion, which consubstantiates the spatial intelligence of architecture as a process of harmonization between the mind and the body, between the idea and the place of action.
