ABSTRACT

The Internet of Things (IoT) is considered as the most significant component that shall coordinate the Sustainable Development Goals. IoT has revolutionized the healthcare sector by reducing time and costs, improving treatments, optimizing workflows, obtaining accuracy in reporting, and facilitating ease in disease monitoring and surveillance. Frontline health workers use IoT-enabled devices to identify and diagnose pneumonia and preeclampsia. Education empowers individuals, augments health and productivity, and fortifies societies and economies. Water resources are considered a very precious commodity and are becoming scarce rapidly. The IoT has an important role in making the smart grid an efficient system. The power usage data is generated by the individual appliance and is aggregated at smart meters towards end-user.
