ABSTRACT

At some near time it is concernable that all information will be available to all people at all times. We may have a wrist watch with a screen with which we can call up a beef cattle simulator program or on which we will be able to read Moby Dick. These examples may be a bit extreme, but progress is very rapid and we need to think about future possibilities. In this particular context it has been said that within fifteen years, people who do not understand what computers can do will be considered illiterate.
