ABSTRACT
In this final chapter, we summarise and discuss some of the key questions raised throughout the book. Some of the gaps in our understanding, and how we need to address these to keep pace with the rapidly changing landscape of Digital Afterlife are identified. The multidisciplinary nature of the field of studies examining Digital Afterlife is celebrated and we argue that such diverse ways of approaching it are essential to fully appreciate the implications it has for society. Ultimately, our Digital Afterlives matter.
