ABSTRACT

The advancement of digital image processing technology can facilitate human life, and this technology has many potential applications for various fields, such as robotics technology. The aim of this study was to design and develop a detection system for the goal frame in the soccer robot field based on digital image processing techniques. An image processing technique transforms the input image into an output image so that the output image has better quality. By utilizing the appropriate technology, a specific object can be identified based on the object capture from the camera. In the field of soccer robots, the robot should have the ability to identify the goal frame accurately. In this case, the robot used the camera as an image sensor, myRIO as a data acquisition system board, and LabVIEW as a programming tool. The results showed that the proposed technique can detect the object very well.
