ABSTRACT

At Dewadaru Airport, Karimunjawa, Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia, currently the runway has a dimension of 1,200 meters by 30 meters, while a Twin Otter-type aircraft has a capacity of 6–12 passengers. To increase the airport’s capacity, it is necessary to add a runway so that the airport can be used by ATR 72 aircraft with a capacity of 40–70 people. The purpose of this study was to predict the number of aircraft passengers 5–15 years to come using regression analysis. The results for 2033 were 74,954 passengers, and the projection results were 71,524 passengers. From the results of the prediction of the number of passengers, 2,028 ATR 72 aircraft are needed, which need a runway of 1,600 meters.
