ABSTRACT

This study emphasizes improving the performance of human resources development through the K3 management system. Many situations that can benefit from K3 occur in workplaces. Accidents are reported in various print and online media. It is therefore necessary to study the factors that optimize the performance of human resource development through a good K3 management system to manage stress caused by jobs full of challenges. To date, the better management of K3.Occupational Health and Safety System (SMK3) in Indonesia has not received much attention. PT PLN Persero is one of the states in Indonesia to implement a K3 management system, especially the distribution network. A growing number of accidents still occur, especially in high-risk occupations associated with contractors or electrical voltage, despite improvements and socialization. Our research is an attempt to anticipate accidents and occupational health hazards through a system that already exists in the company and including the associated development of other variables such as performance and human resource development. This research is also a first step in producing the occupational health and safety system (SMK3) model.
