ABSTRACT

Internet media plays an important role in communicating business activities, especially financial and non-financial performance. Organizations can utilize internet media to build transparency and accountability. The adoption of web-based technology is becoming a global trend. Websites are the best information technology today for exchanging information with the customers or clients easily, quickly, and without limitations of distance and time. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of internet media and its content by micro banking organizations owned by the Central Java, Indonesia, regional government. The population of this study were all micro banks owned by Central Java Regional Government, known as Perusda BPR BKK (Badan Kredit Kecamatan) and Perusda BPR BP (Bank Pasar). Technique of data acquisition was documentation and observation. The result of this research is identification of internet media usage along with micro banking content owned by local government.
